The Center for Research and Education in Wind (CREW) is a research center of the Colorado Renewable Energy Collaboratory, a research partnership among the University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The center is composed of industry members and Research Institutions (the Collaboratory Institutions and Affiliate Research Institutions). CREW is governed by the Executive Board and the Member Advisory Board (of which 7 seats consists of the steering committee). Among all 6 institutions, CREW counts more than 70 researchers.
