CREW IGERT proposal declined
We have now heard that our CREW IGERT full proposal, which was submitted to NSF in September 2010, has been declined. Reviews were overall quite positive, though there was some constructive criticism as well as some (unfortunately) politically-based criticism in the reviews. We were in the top 30 of 100 full proposals invited from approximately 500 pre-proposals. NSF is hoping to fund up to 18 new IGERTs, depending on how their budget pans out.
