Federally-Funded Research Program

The Center for Research and Education in Wind (CREW) may receive funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation, and other federal agencies to conduct basic and applied research on novel approaches to wind energy development. This work will be performed by the scientists and faculty of the Collaboratory Institutions and Associated Research Institutions. Any resulting intellectual property from this CREW research program will be owned by the research institutions that perform the work. Members will receive updates and briefings on these research projects at CREW meetings and via the CREW Members and Investigators Portal on this website.
